IT'S MY BIRTHDAY MONTH!
November 22nd, I'll be 19! And to be honest....I'm not excited about it at all. Everyone keeps asking me what I want, and I really only want one thing;
Happiness and contentment in my life.
Okay, so that's actually 2 things.
I transferred from Cashier to "Dairy Technician" at work, and it's been a lot less stressful. I can go at my own pace, Customers are nicer to me, and I monitor my own breaks. Even though my hours increased to 30+ it's well worth a change of pace.
Unfortunately, it leaves little time for art...
I finally started going back to my art class and after explaining to the teacher my work schedule....he was still unpleasant with me. When I mentioned that I'm severely fatigued, he laughed at me and said that was no excuse.
When he found out I had severe Chronic Lyme Disease....his expression changed, dramatically.
Apparently, a portrait artist in the class, her grandfather had died of Lyme roughly 3 years ago, so now the teacher is giving me more time to finish my work and even offered up to make-up some of my missed classes.
On the note of the Lyme, a little depressing story the other day. The other cashiers were talking about remembering when they could first walk, when they got off their binkies and everything I SHOULD remember, but I don't. They kept asking me if I could remember anything, but I can't. I think anything before 1st grade is completely gone...It's sad, but, hey, I kind of look at it like this...
I may have lost a lot of my early childhood memories, but, it leaves room for thousands more to be created.
ON TO ANOTHER TOPIC.
Tar.
Tarboy, to be exact.
This animation...this beautiful piece of work...It really inspired me. It motivated my. It blew me away. Allow me to share with you, pure awesome.
Tarboy
showed me this other video when she visited on Halloween. Anyone that knows who Ryan Larkin is is definitely on the path of an animator. His animation 'Walking' was single-handily the most inspiration in my life. Yes, more so than Disney. I found after watching 'Ryan' I spiraled down into one of the lows of my life, dreading the path of an artist before me. I didn't want to become what Ryan and Chris has become; unhappy. A few days after, though, I found that my brush strokes were stronger, and my sketchbooks fuller.
FYI, the video is close to 15 minutes long.
Ryan I'm not sure what else to say, so, I guess I'll close up for today.
Toodles and Doodles my friends.
